I did see a flash that kept sparking at approx. 11:30 p.m ( Central Standard time) for about the last 40 minutes, looked to be right on the moon, not around it. It flickered in intensity. Of course, I was only using high-powered binochulars, but I saw it clearly. Here in extreme Southeastern Wisconsin, it was all over by 12:10 a.m. May 16. I got to watch whole thing, only lost about 25 minutes, between 10:30 to 11:00 p.m., cloud cover. Was so clear, I could see craters, ect. Except ,I saw it on Left-side at about 9:00 in position, about a sixteenth of the way in, from outside diameter of moon. Got to watch it against Lake Michigan as backdrop, so I had quite a panoramic view. Was Great ! Had the whole Family down there, kids, grand-kids....we all really enjoyed it! Awesome, literally !
