Hello, Mark and the list,

very interresting story indeed...;

The meteorite is about the size of a walnut, and aside from the pecullar
circumstances of its discovery is not remarkable. It is thought to be a
fragment of a much larger celestial projectile now probably at the
bottom of the water. Search for the parent body will be made next summer.

If anyone have some idea about the larger piece and the hole in the ice
(I suppose, the lake had ice-cover),
please, let me know. Seems, I´m more like a hole hunter at the moment...;-
