I know that a person has to be skeptical
until some hard evidence is produced.

On the otherhand, there is alot of
stuff out there that is still to be
found. Not all of it can be seen on
satellite images, Digital Ortho Quarter
Quads, and other types of remote sensing.
This stuff is going to be found by
someone on the ground banging on rocks
and having the presence of mind to
note that there is something very "odd"
about the rocks that they finding
and banging on and then taking the
time to determine what is "odd" about
them.

We have to wait and see the hard data
supporting this interesting hypothesis
before making a real judgements.
