Troilite and schreibersite I can identify but in the middle of the slice there is a significant black inclusion of what appears to be graphite. And within the graphite are several rounded, yellowish crystals from 1-2.5mm across. One of them has a clean oval shape that looks exactly like a chondrule. Could these be olivine? Has anyone else seen silicates in Sikhote slices? Thanks for your interest and help, Bob Received on Mon 24 Mar 2003 09:54:27 PM PST |
