Hola List and my friend with San Juan A.

San Juan A changed name to San Juan

Meteoritical Bulletin Nº 87

   San Juan 25° 34.53' S, 69° 47.7' W
   Atacama, Chile
   Found 2001 Dec. 1
   Ordinary Chondrite (L5)
Three stones of 1229 g total mass were found within 1 km of each
other. Classification (M. Zolensky, JSC): Olivine Fa 24.5, pyroxene
Fs21.6, shock stage S1/2, weathering grade W2. Specimens: type
specimen 60 g, SI; Main mass, Rodrigo Martínez

Today the total weight known is 1508g, with a total of 6 meteorites,
dispersed in an area of 1.75 x 0.43 Km. So the position and the mass of
each encounter has been registered in order to make the dispersion ellipse
and to explain the entering trajectory. Soon these data will be in my
website/science.

Best Regards

Rodrigo Martinez
