It was great to get together with likeminded meteorite-folk, even if it WAS exactly 5 degrees Sunday night. The two Steves (Witt and Arnold2) brought lots of interesting stuff, and ended up consummating ;-) a trade worthy of the Yankees and Dodgers. I think it involved a beautifully-prepared Odessa slice, some Kilabo, a Huss-numbered Henbury, a CD, a Cape York slice, and some "meteorites to be named later." Paul Sipiera is a fascinating guy, he's the mover-and-shaker behind the Planetary Studies Foundation, centered (as were we) in Algonquin. Paul has some seven Antarctica trips under his belt, so the stories flew. A few more photos at the links below. (Oh, and Rob Elliott was there, too. ;-) Gregory http://members.aol.com/sharkkb8/chicago03/Rob-Steve-Steve.jpg http://members.aol.com/sharkkb8/chicago03/trade-in-progress.jpg http://members.aol.com/sharkkb8/chicago03/Bond-and-Moneypenny.jpg (if you're unsure.....everyone knows Bond is considerably taller than Moneypenny ;-) --part1_c3.31771193.2ba04d4b_boundary Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
<FONT SIZE=3D2 FAMILY=3D"SANSSERIF" FACE= =3D"Arial" LANG=3D"0">
stelor96_at_yahoo.com (Steve Witt) writes:

<BLOCKQUOTE TYPE=3DCITE style=3D"BORDER-LEFT: #0000ff 2px solid; MARGIN-LEFT= : 5px; MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 5px">I can't speak for everyone, but= I think a good time was had by all.

I wholeheartedly agree.
