[meteorite-list] What in the heck is this?

Yeah, right... "everyone has always called them
meteorites"... That is one of the reasons I get
THOUSANDS of "meteorites" sent to my site which are
actually meteorwrongs.

B-A-S-A-L-T...

An igneous rock.

That is what these items are.

The pacific NW is full of this material.
