I have used these scopes for years in my science education courses. For the
price, they are great. A few other scopes are entering the market, but for
you on this list ages 6 and older, the IntelPlay QX3 (now known as the
Digital Blue and marketed by the NeoSci Company) is the easiest to use. Plus
it has ported over the comical and comically simple interface to the Mac
side as well as Win XP. The price is a little higher than the sub $100 it
sold for from Intel, but there are curriculum books available now as well.
And it is all backwards compatible with original QX3 scopes.
