These papers might be of interest to you:

Barnes V.E. , Underwood J.R. (1976) New investigation of the strewnfield
of Libyan Desert Glass and its petrography (EPSL 30, pp. 117-122).

BARAKAT A.A. et al. (1998) Meteoritic iron from the Libyan glass area,
SW Egypt - Great Sand Sea xxx (MAPS 33-4, 1998, A173-A175).

KLEINMANN B. et al. (2001) Evidence for shock metamorphism in sandstones
from the Libyan desert glass strewn field (MAPS 36-9, 2001 pp. 1277-1282).

The latter two contain maps illustrating the general distribution of LDGs. Barbara
Kleinmann's map shows more detail thanAly Barakat's.
