I just happened to notice that seller's auctions this morning. And the fact that the same ebay "newbie" had met the reserve on all of them. I thought it must be a new collector in desperate need of good advice. For the first time in ages, I was tempted to write the buyer and ask him/her "what in God's name are you doing?!". And recommend the meteorite-list in the process. But then I thought: "Forget it, Charlie. Just mind your own business." If the seller and buyer are one and the same, all he/she is doing is adding more ebay fees to their listings. Best wishes, Charlie --WebTV-Mail-32569-433 Content-Disposition: Inline Content-Type: Message/RFC822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Received: from smtpinvite-2001-2.public.lawson.webtv.net (172.16.213.202) by storefull-2358.public.lawson.webtv.net with WTV-SMTP; Sat, 8 Feb 2003 07:10:24 -0800 (PST) Received: from pairlist.net (pairlist.net [216.92.1.92]) by smtpinvite-2001-2.public.lawson.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix+sws) with ESMTP id A4B41FE0B for <moonrock25_at_webtv.net>; Sat, 8 Feb 2003 07:10:17 -0800 (PST) Received: from pairlist.net (localhost.pair.com [127.0.0.1]) by pairlist.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3983E5363D; Sat, 8 Feb 2003 09:34:32 -0500 (EST) Delivered-To: meteorite-list_at_pairlist.net Received: from mu.pair.com (mu.pair.com [209.68.1.23]) by pairlist.net (Postfix) with SMTP id 0521853544 for <meteorite-list_at_lists.meteoritecentral.com>; Sat, 8 Feb 2003 09:32:53 -0500 (EST) Received: (qmail 63775 invoked by uid 7111); 8 Feb 2003 14:32:53 -0000 Delivered-To: arthur-meteoritecentral:com-meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com Received: (qmail 63772 invoked from network); 8 Feb 2003 14:32:52 -0000 Received: from mtiwmhc11.worldnet.att.net (204.127.131.115) by mu.pair.com with SMTP; 8 Feb 2003 14:32:52 -0000 Received: from 0m824 (94.philadelphia-05-10rs.pa.dial-access.att.net[12.90.10.94]) by mtiwmhc11.worldnet.att.net (mtiwmhc11) with SMTP id <2003020814325011100f0s1je>; Sat, 8 Feb 2003 14:32:51 +0000 Message-ID: <000c01c2cf7f$1ce59780$5e0a5a0c_at_0m824> From: "John Divelbiss" <j.divelbiss_at_worldnet.att.net> To: <meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0009_01C2CF55.27D908E0" X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1106 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1106 Subject: [meteorite-list] Zag for $18/g?
