You jolly fellow you! : ) and List, Was going to reply off- list, like I did in the letter you forwarded publically of mine just now, then decided what the heck, since inquisitive minds want to know ( good one! touchee') I may as well save some time and let you know what is in my head ,on-list. I guess, it's a matter of definition. These are not not JUST Nuns they are Meteorite-collecting, enthusiasts and Nuns, whom I figured deserved the respect and consideration this list has always shown newcomers to our community before. Because of a misunderstanding, or lack of facts, as to their originality of intent on going to Tuscon, I did not figure they would understand or appreciate the sometimes humorous banter we reserve to ourselves as members of THIS list, but knew that they might be made aware of it, as they belong to another list, that is headed by Matteo. Thus, I made the statement to make our List members aware enough, not to get the reception Steve unwittingly got, or give the impression to the Nuns that we were being rude or inhospitable, as a group. Though I won't be able to go, I've been on-list long enough to know, that Tuscon, is a much looked forward to, and supposed to be, a fun. educational and festive gala event, amoung meteorite Collectors, ect.and ALL. Was just trying to help keep it that way Michael. That just about sums it up, as far as my intentions, and what was in my head. Be rest assured, though in my letter to you, you may have misunderstood my humor and intent, if so I apologise for that. Best Regards and R.S.V.P. Michael, if you have any more questions, I'll be glad to answer them, Marcie --WebTV-Mail-8895-232 Content-Disposition: Inline Content-Type: Message/RFC822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7Bit Received: from smtpinvite-3101.bay.webtv.net (209.240.204.241) by storefull-3212.bay.webtv.net with WTV-SMTP; Mon, 29 Dec 2003 11:30:15 -0800 (PST) Received: from pairlist.net (pairlist.net [216.92.1.92]) by smtpinvite-3101.bay.webtv.net (WebTV_Postfix+sws) with ESMTP id AB7C2BE08; Mon, 29 Dec 2003 11:30:14 -0800 (PST) Received: from pairlist.net (localhost.pair.com [127.0.0.1]) by pairlist.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id C2F00537A9; Mon, 29 Dec 2003 14:30:09 -0500 (EST) Delivered-To: meteorite-list_at_pairlist.net Received: from mu.pair.com (mu.pair.com [209.68.1.23]) by pairlist.net (Postfix) with SMTP id D6BAD536EF for <meteorite-list_at_lists.meteoritecentral.com>; Mon, 29 Dec 2003 14:28:45 -0500 (EST) Received: (qmail 13798 invoked by uid 7111); 29 Dec 2003 19:28:45 -0000 Delivered-To: arthur-meteoritecentral:com-meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com Received: (qmail 13795 invoked from network); 29 Dec 2003 19:28:45 -0000 Received: from fed1mtao08.cox.net (68.6.19.123) by mu.pair.com with SMTP; 29 Dec 2003 19:28:45 -0000 Received: from [192.168.1.100] ([68.101.241.147]) by fed1mtao08.cox.net (InterMail vM.5.01.06.05 201-253-122-130-105-20030824) with ESMTP id <20031229192813.EKLT9010.fed1mtao08.cox.net_at_[192.168.1.100]>; Mon, 29 Dec 2003 14:28:13 -0500 User-Agent: Microsoft-Outlook-Express-Macintosh-Edition/5.0.5 Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] the nuns want to go to tucson with me From: Michael L Blood <mlblood_at_cox.net> To: Marcia Swanson <MJSOfArc_at_webtv.net>, <j.divelbiss@att.net>, <meteorite-list@meteoritecentral.com> Message-ID: <BC15C04D.F4F1%mlblood_at_cox.net> In-Reply-To: <651-3FF07F1A-734_at_storefull-3213.bay.webtv.net> Mime-version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Sender: meteorite-list-admin_at_meteoritecentral.com Errors-To: meteorite-list-admin_at_meteoritecentral.com X-BeenThere: meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com X-Mailman-Version: 2.0 Precedence: bulk List-Help: <mailto:meteorite-list-request_at_meteoritecentral.com?subject=help> List-Post: <mailto:meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com> List-Subscribe: <http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list>, <mailto:meteorite-list-request_at_meteoritecentral.com?subject=subscribe> List-Id: Meteorite Discussion Forum <meteorite-list.meteoritecentral.com> List-Unsubscribe: <http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-list>, <mailto:meteorite-list-request_at_meteoritecentral.com?subject=unsubscribe> List-Archive: <http://www.pairlist.net/pipermail/meteorite-list/> Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2003 11:28:14 -0800 X-Brightmail: Message tested, results are inconclusive Marcie, WHAT ON EARTH do you think is going to happen here (or in Tucson) that would be such a disaster? They are just NUNS, for Pete's sake. Really, what is going on in your mind? Inquisitive folks want to know.
