Maybe Dan is right, and maybe the date was anticipated=20= or=20 something similar. Though I can't find it at the moment (searching in book)= , I=20 thought he made some comments in the text suggesting prior recoveries of Lun= ar=20 rocks. The first manned landing was July 20, 1969,the remarks didn't seem=20 definitive though.......?? Also, it is interesting to see a full page decked out in duds, picture of=20 Charlie Brown (the cowboy who captured Pasamonte falling on film), but not t= he=20 photo itself...One kind listmember pointed out to me it was apparently in a=20 later editionm of the book... Thanks...and the questions are still open!
