Rex,

Search Yahoo Groups for key words meteor , meteorite. I think there are
4-5 on Yahoo,( Sale,Trade, Noise, Collectors, etc) plus another
sale/trade list with a mineral dealer not associated with the dealers we
see here. There is a Meteor Showers group which sends out reminders of
up coming showers.

Meteor Observers acts as a discussion and reporting forum for those who
systematically record meteors/showers visually and elecronically. It is
monitored by several list members for early notification of potential
meteorite dropping fireballs. Otherwise it is very tame as compared to
years gone by when threre were some ardent "Your Mother" kinds of posts
 even amongst folks who do it for a living.

There are a few more restricted lists used by scientists, researchers,
and specialist but "I know nothing...nothing..." as Sgt Shultz might say.
