Here are some specimens from my own collection which = I have either found replacements for, I have completed studying them, or = I am just tired of looking at them. With one exception, all are = $1.00/gram or less. Gao, Nice little 46.5 gram stone. I recently got another larger piece. This = one didn't sell in January, so I'll lower the price to $66.00 http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/gao1.jpg http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/gao2.jpg Gold Basin, L4 Here is a whopper 426 gram individual with, get this, fusion crust! This = piece is about 40% crusted. The crust is kind of thick too. At .68/gram = it is a bit more than many Gold Basins but not many have this much = crust. $290.00 Here are several views: http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/gb1.jpg http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/gb2.jpg http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/gb3.jpg Odessa, Here is a nice medium sized 622 gram specimen. It has a neat looking = concave feature (second photo). Whole Odessas this size seem to be = about as rare as Henburys. $163.00 (.26/gram). http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/od1.jpg http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/od2.jpg Saratov, L4, fell Sept., 6, 1918 Here is something you don't see everyday. SLICES of Saratov. Normally, = Saratov is too friable to cut (at least I have not been successful when = I have tried) but these slices were cut from a stone that had been = impregnated with an epoxy to prevent it from breaking apart. I recently = got a large slice because I wanted to slice it to get a micromount for = my micro collection. I don't need these so you can have either at my = cost, which was $1.00/gram. Nice display pieces (they are 6mm thick) or = you can do like I did and cut for micros. The larger slice is 124.60 = grams and the smaller is $12.3 grams http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/sar1.jpg http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/sar2.jpg NWA 869, L4 Here is a nice endpiece. I got this one because I wanted to study the = desert patina and it looks very nice. The brecciation is also nice on = this one and the price is nicer still, only .36/gram or $25.00 for this = 70 gram endpiece.=20 http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/nwa1.jpg http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/nwa2.jpg Tsarev, L5 I recently got a slice of this Russian find (1968) to cut to make a = micromount for my collection but it was too thick for the case. I = ripped it down the middle and cut the micro from one of the "halves." = These two slices are the remainder. I paid approx. .50/gram so you can = have either for the same price - .50/gram. The larger slice (first = photo) is $12.84 grams and the smaller one is 9.87 grams. http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/ts1.jpg http://www.branchmeteorites.com/temp/ts2.jpg Thanks for looking. Shipping charge is $4.00 (US residents).
