The silicified stuff is more resistant to weathering, stands up above the limestone itself, and is commonly stained reddish. The second rock appears to be a greenish (glauconitic?) sandstone. The rind is probably case-hardened with desert varnish. Case- hardening is pretty common in desert rocks -- the rind becomes cemented (carbonate or silica) while the interior turns sandy. The third rocks are ventifacts, carved by windblown sand. By their color, they are probably limestone. Behind the rocks is a nice desert pavement, which is consistent with lots of wind.
