Of course I can't speak for Rick here but I think it safe to say for myself
and quite a few others here when I say don't sweat it. You made a mistake
and not only apologized for it but made an attempt to mend fences here.
Personally, I think quite a few people could learn from you Steve. We all
make our mistakes and for once its nice to see someone not only admitting it
but apologizing and trying to make ammends.

An open letter to Rick Nowak and list,

It has come to my attention that I was in total error with the previous post
I had made regarding sending Rick information. I looked further into my
records and coorespondence and indeed I had never sent information regarding
the Plymouth Meteorite. I am ashamed of myself and ask for the forgiveness
of
the list but most of all you, Rick. You certainly did not have that coming
and for that I am truly sorry. Going off half-cocked without checking the
facts was hurtful, sloppy research, and unconscionable. If I had any
credibility with this list, I am certain it no longer applies.
There was certainly an enormous humbling lesson learned.

 I can only hope that you find that elusive meteorite!

Further, Rick, if there is any information that you need regarding the
Plymouth Meteorite, please contact me off list. It is the very least I can
do
having caused all of this mess. I will certainly understand if you decline
the offer. Again...all I can say is that I'm truly sorry for the post, and
wish you the absolute best in your meteorite hunting endeavors.
