Dear List,

While on the subject of David New, and he certainly was one of my
favorite dealers, it's worth noting that according to the section
describing Zagami on David Weir's website, one of the 3 lithologies
present in Zagami, an Fe-rich melt residue, is named after its' finder,
none other than David New (DN).

David was also one of the few dealers I ever knew who didn't collect
meteorites himself. Or, as he once told me: "I refuse to compete with
my customers."
