My first meteorite was purchased at Flandreau Planetarium in 1987, I was 15
years old. It was an 80 gram Canyon Diablo, $20.00. I still have it. After
that I never thought again about meteorites, until 1995 at the Tucson Gem
show. Met Bob Haag and bought a piece of Gao, $72.00, my check bounced! Bob
hassled me for a couple of days. The rest is history. I found my first
meteorite at Gold Basin, 19 grams. Since then I have found Canyon Diablo,
Monturaqui, Imilac, Odessa, Portales Valley, Ourique and Holbrook. I would
sell my collection for $1,000,000. Not less, I love it too much.
