A story in the Wall Street Journal ,a few months back, reports an experiment with first class mail vs. Priority mail. On average and contrary to the UPSP marketing, first class often got there faster. This experiment was also done a few years ago and the difference is getting worse. So on small uninsured parcels, you may save time as well as money by going first class.
