They aren't idiots, barbarians's, 15th centure midevil warriors as many would like us to think. The are people just like us. In pursuit of the almighty dollar. The reason, in my opinion, they are doing their collecting practices is because dealers are PAYING THEM TO DO IT. If there was no market for data lacking collected meteorites, there would be no data lacking collecting. If these "15th century camel jockeys" HAD, AND I REPEAT H A D, to collect the meteorites with SOME SCIENCE INVOLVED, they would do it. But they don't, because dealers and collectors aren't making them do it. Its all about the money, and the easiest and quickest way to get it. Screw the science.
