I have been thinking about turning a small, walk-in closet, into a place to keep my meteorites. It would work good, because there is pleanty of room to walk in, shelves to keep specimens on, etc. I have a few rather large iron meteorites that I would like to keep from rusting, along with smaller specimens. What would be the best way to lower the humidity and keep it low in this area? Of course, I would like to do it the cheapest way possible. The only thing I could think of would be putting some large desiccant packets in there. Also, there is no AC duct, would temperature be a factor since the closet has an outside wall? Thanks for any information. Ray ___________________________________________________________________ Join the Space Program: Get FREE E-mail at http://www.space.com.
