I ordered a piece from him in July. I ordered quite a few pieces from different people in a short time period with the thought that I would not buy hardly any for quite some time unless a very good deal presented itself. I had my wife watch the mail for me and hold my meteorites and just kind of distribute them over time so I wouldn't feel like I was much of drought. A couple of weeks ago I was asked by the local library to put together a display with my meteorites and I asked my wife to go ahead and let me have all the meteorites that I had ordered to show them off. I got all of them except for the one ordered from this dealer. I asked my wife about it and she said she never recieved anything from him. I emailed him about it but never heard back but finally got the slice I ordered a couple months ago in today. I'll probally buy from him in the future because he does sell some really amazing pieces (including the one I just got) for a decent price but agree that his communication could definitely be better with his buyers. It also happens to me to know Mr. M. Masse and Mr. Diplom-Ing.Dr.Christian Anger personally. They are both extremely nice people of outstanding character and honesty. The question necessarily comes up first is why the seller didn't deliver the goods after items were paid by the buyer properly (very long time ago)? The next question is why the seller didn't reply to any of the 16 emails from the buyer which were stating the pieces never arrived after several weeks and months? The next question is why the seller (this well known American dealer) replies to any other email requests from other parties (just not to the person who was awaiting the goods) at the same time? But the biggest question of all is why a piece of Bondoc is offered on ebay which according to several list members is the same as was paid but not delivered to the first purchaser? Do some American dealers really think Europe is far away that they can come along with such a circus? Come on the meteoritic "world" is to small. You can't sell a piece 2 times. A public statement of this person who normally frequently posts on this list is still missing. On all what I know about this ownership dispute. I have to say this is fraud pure. My penny to this matter. But let's continue to talk about meteoritics and not about pieces which were sold two times. -- GMX - Die Kommunikationsplattform im Internet. http://www.gmx.net -- GMX Tipp: Machen Sie Ihr Hobby zu Geld bei unserem Partner 1&1! http://profiseller.de/info/index.php3?ac=OM.PS.PS003K00596T0409a Check out the new Meteorite Central logo wear at http://www.cafepress.com/cp/store/store.aspx?storeid=meteorites _______________________________________________ Meteorite-list mailing list Meteorite-list_at_meteoritecentral.com http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/meteorite-listReceived on Fri 07 Sep 2001 05:22:28 PM PDT |
