Hi All,

I tell you, the east coast gets all the luck. First a stupendous
meteor in July, and now a (much rarer!) satellite reentry. Some
of my colleagues are really kicking themselves this morning -- we
told them about the possibility of the reentry a good 18 hours in
advance, but they didn't get up to look for it. Granted, reentries
are more fickle than a long-period comet, but every once in a while
the gambit really pays off... --Rob
