This summer my wife Wren and I made a strong effort to track down many leads and to get some hunting done in and around New Mexico. We located one stone that a rancher had found near Tolar, New Mexico. It weighs right at 5 kilos. Ugly as sin, but I love it all the same! It is currently under classification. We also discovered what might appear to be a small strewn field in West Texas. At this particular spot there are many tall dunes and desert blowout areas. We located 4 individuals in this area. The largest of which weighs about 180 grams. They might all be paired, but I believe there are two distinct falls represented here.....only classification will tell. My wife Wren found two of these!!!! Her first New Meteorite!! I can not disclose the location of this site until further work is done. These 4 stones are under classification at present. Overall it has been a good summer of hunting!!! There are still many great places to hunt in the USA.......all you go to do is get out there! I have just loaded 63 auctions on ebay with many great items....most starting at $1.00!
