[meteorite-list] Drought of falls?

Here's a thought....

We haven't had a fall (with material recovered) in a long while. Are we due now or were the past 4 years (Bilanga, Tagish Lake, Portales,
Ourique, and others) just extremely lucky? Why has 2000 and 2001 been so dead for falls?

Mike Farmer must be champing at the bit to go off and scour a new strewn field and I must say I am looking forward to more travel adventures
being posted on the list.
