Hi Matteo,

According to the "Mars Meteorite Compendium - 1998", compiled
by Charles Meyer (NASA), a Mr. Renato Funiciello, Rome, privately
purchased the main mass from a mineral collector. He sold 97 gr.
to Dr. Fernada Ferrucci - the main mass that is now curated by
Darryl. Renato Funicello gave (or sold) another ~ 7 gr. to the
British Museum of Natural History, London, and another portion
for scientific studies in the 1970's (Bogard, Nyquist, Swindel,
and others). The remainder, about ~ 7 gr., should now be curated
by Cavarretta, Rom. Maybe you can find out what happened to this
portion of G.V.?
