Pieces of Oregon meteorites will be displayed at museum

The Clackamas County Historical Society is showing an exhibit on
meteorites at its Museum of the Oregon Territory, 211 Tumwater Drive in
Oregon City.

Fragments of several Oregon meteorities are in the exhibit, which
represents the collection of Richard Pugh, a meteorite expert and former
science teacher at Cleveland High School. The exhibit runs through May
31.

Pugh will make slide presentations at 7 p.m. April 11 and 7 p.m. May 16 at
the museum. The events are free and open to the public.

The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and from 1 p.m. to 5
p.m. on weekends. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for students and senior
citizens and $2 for children. More information may be obtained by calling
