Date: Thu Apr 22 09:44:15 2004 Message-ID: <3B3D1008.759E681D_at_kconline.com> Hi Eric and all, To add to Eric's excellent post, Mercurian meteorites would contain no more than 5% iron maximum, would be achondrite in nature and as Eric said differentiated highly from heat or decay. Mercurian meteorites would also have a higher shock effect than the SNC's and a basaltic content with low H2O content and low violatiles with an estimated age of 3.7 to 4.4 billion years.
