These are some of my views on some of the subjects
that have come up lately.

But first a new word for some......

ANTHROPOCENTRIC : that considers man as the central
fact, or final aim, of the universe. (Webster's).

Here is an interesting FACT! Think about this. In my opinion, at =
least 80-90% of ALL meteorites, and I mean
ALL, have NO KNOWN LOCATION OR KNOWN "REAL"
ORIGIN!

This view that the known earth location has such=20
significant importance, is nothing more than an=20
Anthropocentric view from Nationalistic minded=20
people. OK. Fine. =20

WHERE THE HELL IS THE REAL ORIGIN OF THESE
SPACE ROCKS?????? =20

QUESTION?

Why does a LL6 Chondrite from Alaska cost $10.00-$15.00
per gram from some dealers ?????

Why does a LL6 Chondrite from The Sahara cost $2.00 per gram,
sometimes more, sometimes less?

I will tell you why...... Anthropocentric Views.

Everyone has the right to collect the way they want to. No argument
here. But to "bad mouth" something you really know little about,
reflects either ignorance or stupidity. (or Jealous)

MOST of the Negative talk (In my opinion) comes from collectos who
are also dealers who have NONE TO LITTLE of this material for sale.
(NWA or Sahara Material). Whatever! What really pisses me off though
is for the first time in decades we have afforadable meteorites and =
people
find ways to Anthropocentrically(sp) turn against them.

I believe by buying Sahara and NWA meteorites you contribute to the
science of Meteoritics greatly. BUY BUY BUY and you will bring=20
MORE MORE MORE meteorites out of the field. The science will
grow tremendously. Demand more meteorites and they will come,
and so will the people to classify and study them. This abundance
of meteorites is a blessing!!!!! =20

Imagine hundreds of people studying this material.....and for the
first time in history...HUNDREDS can study them. Why?
Because we now have an abundance of new material.

Get with the program. These NWA and Sahara Meteorites do
mean something............KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE SOLAR
SYSTEM. Your petty demand for exact location on earth means=20
nothing, except that you give some people the idea that they
are worthless.....give me a break!

THE MORE METEORITES WE HAVE THE MORE WE LEARN.
PERIOD. PERIOD. PERIOD.

Several years ago I set out to change somethings about the
price of meteorites. In some ways I have accomplished what
I set out to do. My goal was to lower the price of meteorites
and effect the market to have lower prices, and thus expand
the collector's ability to access more meteorites. I think
I have accomplished this. I offer more lower prices on more
meteorites than.....I believe any other dealer does. More often.

Because of this my collection has grown by hundreds of
new meteorites......so has other collector's collections
as well. Ebay has helped to bring prices down too and=20
because of lower prices more people have become meteorite
dealers.

BUT YET, People whine about Sahara and NWA meteorites.
TOO Ugly, No known location, Nomads found them, Weathered,
TOO CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give me a break. Some of you
will never be satisfied! You got to whine about something.

If I had a million dollars right now! I would buy all of the Moroccan
and Sahara meteorites non-stop. Buy them all. I would then
build the largest Meteoritics Institute to study them. I would send
students to college on scholarships to learn the trade and then hire
them to study these meteorites. THESE METEORITES ARE
THE BEST DEAL ON THIS PLANET!!!! It is not about a hundred
riker mounts or a dusty shelve filled with meteorites. It is about
knowledge.

ALL meteorite hunters who truly spend time in the field KNOW THAT
ALL STREWN FIELDS NO MATTER HOW LARGE ARE FINITE!!!!!

Get them ALL while you can!!!!!!!!!!!!
