They guide will advise you as to local custom, will help in = negotiating in the local manner, interpret, protect your interests. c) Pay him well and when you return, hire the same person. As you = gain trust and a business relationship, he will work more for you. The cost to you will be much better than if you wing it on your own = and try to negotiate by yourself. I learned these techniques when I first went to Egypt for three weeks. = I went with a group led by Dr. Krupp (Archaeoastronomer, through UCLA) = and learned how it works. Two years later I went back on my own and followed the above = guidelines, I went everywhere, the length of the Nile, out of the way = places no tourists go, my own schedule, and the guides I used were 1000% = helpful.
