I have been curious about the Hammada al Hamra 237 CH chondrite
now being offered by the Swiss Meteorite Lab

Granted that we have only a small sampling of asteroid material
in the meteorites we find, but still, this sample must be causing
scientists to scratch their heads.
The picture at SML shows what looks like a metal or metallic
chondrite.
Does anyone have any comments from researchers who have studied this?
PS:
a 3 million dollar meteorite?!!? That should finance another trip
to the desert... I can see it now, the new frontier, thousands of
folk flocking to deserts with metal detectors. Maybe it's time to
start investing in camels;-)
