Asteroid knocks out satellite?

Hello List,

There is now speculation that a meteorite or asteroid may be responsible
for the 'disorientation' of Galaxy Four Satellite.  They can communicate
with it but it is pointed in the wrong direction so it is not oriented
properly to relay messages. This has of course mainly affected pager
communications all over the country (90%) and PanAmSat (owner of Galaxy
Four) is switching over to other satellites with available channels.
Has anyone heard about this proposed meteorite hit as the cause for its
change in direction?
