BORGSTRÖM (HELSINGFORS, 1902):
Der Meteorit von Bjurböle hat ein sehr lockeres Gefüge und lässt sich
schon unter den Fingern zerreiben. Diese ihm sicherlich schon vor dem
Fallen auf die Erdoberfläche zugekommene Eigenschaft ist wahrscheinlich
in Folge des langen Liegens im Wasser bedeutend erhöht worden.
Translation (not literal): The Bjurböle meteorite is very friable and is
easily crushed by rubbing between the fingers. This quality is
undoubtedly preterrestrial and has probably been heightened as a
consequence of its having been in the water for such a long time.
(Unfortunately the text does not say explicitly how long the fragments
had been in the water).
