The meteorite found in Lake Okechobee was an L4 recognized in 1916 from an
ealier time. The ARN book says "fragments weighing about 1 kg. were brought up
in a net some 0.75 miles from shore." Lake O is a fresh water lake in the
middle of the state (great bass fishing) so "barnacles" are unlikely.
