Thanks to Allan & Walt at Lang's Meteorites for letting me use their laptop
in their room in Tucson, This Gold Basin they have at 1.75 per gram looks
like a nice deal.

In March of last year, several hundred pounds of "NC meteorites" were
offered to me at 5.00 per pound.  Mike Watkins from Hiddenite Gems was with
me and we both thought they looked common iron ore. Mike called it
"ilmenite". To be sure, I mailed a piece to Bob Haag, and a few weeks
later, I got a call back confirming that the material was not meteorite. If
you have bought any NC meteorites that are in question, it might be a good
idea to have a sample checked like I did.
