Astroid Belt
Last week the discussion was about the Astroid Belt.
I was wondering if the carboneous meteorites are associated with the Astroid Belt? If so, could these be of a former life form?
I have a theory that if there are not witnesses to an event if one follows the shadows than clues will show themselves.
With this in mind, if a meteorite or comet distroyed a planet, were any clues left behind? Where were all of the planets at the time of collusion? Earth may have been upward of the collusion on on the otherside of the sun and protected except when the orbit took them through the debris path. In which there would have been alot of meteorites with perhaps a very large one also hitting the earth. The planets located on the downward side of the collusion would have picked up more debris. Could the rings around Saturn, Jupiter, and Neptune (I think) have been caused by this collusion? Could anyone calculate the location of the planets at the time by the rings?
What do you think?
