Fireball? and Icefall list
Hello All,
I was contacted today by a geology professor about a fireball sighted over
southeast Idaho, at about 11 pm MST, on or around Wednesday of last week.
It was (I'm told) visible for over eight seconds, and traveling in a south
to north direction. Any information about this would be appreciated.
Another note: the 6 page list of icefalls Peter speaks of is one I received
in a meteorite book deal. However, instead of placing this list on my
Internet page of out-of-print meteorite books, I decided that since it
contained no author or other identification source, I would send a copy to
whoever wanted one. I offer this list to anyone who wants one for only one
dollar, and a self-addressed stamped envelope. The dollar is for my time
and photocopy charges. Or as Peter found out, I will gladly trade articles
with you if you have something interesting.
If you would like a copy of the list of icefalls, please email me off this
List at martinh@isu.edu and I will give you further ordering instructions.
Sincerely,
Martin
