Dear Michael,
Just imagine: you have exact location and
you decide to go there to find more.
What do you need for it? Same equipment, same money, same risk and almost
same time to get there.
If you saw pictures from Sahara surface with meteorites on it, you
will agree that if somebody was before you and looked for meteorites in this
place - your chances to find are low. I made two trips to deserts (Gobi and Kara
Kumy) looking for meteorites (two cars,GPS etc...). To check out area of few square kilometers
(in case of shower) is question of few hours. Labenne already made second trip
after they found and classified EH3. So this area must be cleaned unless it is
tons of EH there and you just can not move it in one time, but in this case $25g
doesn't sounds as GIFT for me.
If I go to desert - I will try to find place where NOBODY was before.
Regards,
Serguei
