The origin of tektites have been somewhat of a controversy, and they are
not considered meteorites. Some decades ago, some people were maintaining
that tektites originated from the Moon, but when the lunar samples were
brought back from the Apollo mission, that pretty much squelched that
theory. My question on Earth meteorites though was was meant to pertain
to the rocks falling from space with fusion crusts.
Now that I think about it some more, I would expect an Earth meteorite to
be a stony meteorite, and not an iron or stony-iron meteorite. Also, they
would seem to be more likely found in the Antarctic collection because
there more meteorites have found in the Antarctic than anywhere else in
the world, and the meteorites found there can be preserved in the ice
for thousands of years.
