RE: Bill's Q about cleaning stone meteorites - I use the highest % pure alcohol 
possible - does a good job - evaporates quickly & leaves no "stain" - if it is a 
large piece, or many pieces, I use DISTILLED water, then rinse in alcohol 
(which absorbs water - then evaporates quickly)  Miichael
