A question to those with experience: How much is the sample in grams need that is used for experimental purposes to determine the type of stone? Also, is the XFR test sufficient or must another XDR test be conducted to determine the type of meteorite?

Also, is it possible to use the sample that was conducted in the XFR test by crushing it into powder and subjecting it to the XDR test to determine the meteorite?
