Seems to me that one possible explanation has been danced around: that the collection owner might have died (perhaps unexpectedly), and the spouse/family/estate knew little about meteorites. If so, it would illustrate the importance of having a living will with clear instructions for ?exotic? items about which family members may be completely unknowledgeable. --Rob

TKW reported in the MetBull is often inaccurate, as addition masses found after the classification are seldom reflected in the MetBul.
