I think I was looped in on the stimulus for such a reply as well. Been a few years. But in reality, museums and even NASA make lists of display and collection specimens. I can easily imagine ALH84001 landing on one of those lists. Spending time with ALH84001 was on my bucket list. Here's a pic of what I played with at JSC: http://www.meteorite-times.com/Back_Links/2004/May/alh84001_under_scope.jpg On Fri, May 11, 2018 at 4:48 PM, Michael Farmer <mike at meteoriteguy.com> wrote: > Alh84001 is government property and if you have some it?s a bad bad thing. > So how could that ever be on a must have collection list? > > Michael Farmer > > > On May 11, 2018, at 1:48 PM, Carl Esparza via Meteorite-list < > meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com> wrote: > > > > List, 2 more missing. > > ALH 84001 ; Martian, 1st meteorite suspected of possible life > > Tucson Iron; 1st to have a $ one million reward (offered by Bob Haag). > > Carl > > -- > > Love & Life > > > > ---- Galactic Stone & Ironworks via Meteorite-list <meteorite-list_at_ > meteoritecentral.com> wrote: > >> Great to hear from you Martin.
