Calling a meteorite that is supposedly from Niger ?Nigerian? is certainly not helping your cause. Also, in my humble opinion, it is your seller?s liability to maintain the chain of provenance and provide you with credible location data. Clouding find information of meteorites seems to have become a sport with finders and middlesmen from certain countries. Dealers buying merchandise without insisting to get at least basic find data from their suppliers contribute to the problem.
