As for NWA 5000,
NWA 5000 is certainly an attractive meteorite (when the cut is large enough to see it), and it goes without saying that the main mass was a very big lunar indeed.

However, beauty and size do not matter much to scientists who study most everything at the molecular and microscopic levels (and who have studied this to death) and while beauty is important to collectors, it is mostly absent in nearly any sub-gram specimen of NWA 5000, which are the only truly affordable specimens for the average collector.

So sorry to say it, but the endless hype about it being "legendary" and "the highest rated lunar in the world" gets really tired after a while...

Oh and some open questions to the list:

Highest rated by what scale? What organization? What true standard for "rating" meteorites even exists? FYI, there is none... ;-)

Legendary by comparison to Allende? Murchison? Orguiel? Cape York? Sorry... NWA 5000 doesn't hold a candle to the real legends of meteorite history.

Last buy not least, my medical doctorate is very real. Much more so than the "legendary" status NWA 5000. ;-)
