This short workshop is free to attend, and includes social/networking opportunities, but meals are not provided. Dr Tony Irving will be in Plymouth, UK, to present a seminar and two short workshops on meteorites in thin section. The first workshop will cover Lunar and Martian meteorites, and the second will focus on other classes of meteorites including chondrites and achondrites, using petrological microscopes. Both classes are designed for an academic interest, but any interested parties are welcome. Spaces are limited therefore booking is essential; priority will be offered to current students.
