Dear List Members,

I have several no reserve auctions ending this evening and tomorrow
night. This is the first time I have posted an advertisement to the
List with an updated system so I hope it goes through.

I was going to discontinue my weekly meteorite auctions but while
touring Manhattan in New York and observing the Americas Cup yacht race
in Bermuda I had time to clear my head. I have such a little amount of
NWA 5000 inventory left that I might as well finish what I started
several years ago since some of the material is already prepared for
eBay. Something wasn't sitting right with me before going on vacation
and I could not put a finger on it. My wife reminded me that I always
follow through on projects/goals and never let others interfere,
especially those that take shortcuts or have less than honorable
intentions. There is nothing like some time off in order to reestablish
direction. That being said, I will auction off the remaining inventory
until it is completely depleted over the next month or so.

Collectors are smart enough to place a much higher value on meticulous
managed material like NWA 5000 than self-paired, unstudied, uncut stones
with no recorded total known weights that are being dumped onto the
market. I will leave this fraud up to the IMCA since I have no time to
investigate because it is so rampant and in some cases is being
perpetrated by members. I estimate that 90% of the material being
passed of as official lunar material on eBay has never been looked at by
a Nom Com approved scientist, is terrestrial or are similar-looking
achondrites being mixed in at the source.
