Elton and Tommy, Elton I think that you hit the nail on the head. I have no evidence that any of the images that they used for their tv news were of the event and yes the one footage segment that they replayed was of a recycled jet contrail (also used in the past week for the UK event). Their impact crater was a large pothole/ small sinkhole in the highway.

Why do they show a jet with Sun lit contrails during the report???
