I'm looking something easier and something that not fuse again the sample!

Marcin,

I would sandbast and then follow up by applying a welding torch at blue/white temperature to perhaps again fuse the exterior as occured when the specimen came through the atnosphere trying to keep the direction of the ablation oriented in one direction. All of us would, I am sure, like to see the result.
