Your awareness of our acquisitions indicates your knowledge of NWA 10495, making your misrepresentations to the list and others all the more troubling. I am glad you came out in public asking everyone, including all of the Moroccan dealers, to contact you directly to save you money on Moroccan purchases! However, there are bigger lunars. Kalahari 009 and NWA 10495, both exceed NWA 5000?s original mass. I?m writing now because I have been honored to curate the main mass of NWA 10495, which weighs 12.120 kg. Accuracy is important and it is impaired by exaggeration. While bigger doesn?t always mean better, when extolling the virtues of the largest lunar meteorite...size matters! Records get broken and we have new achievements to celebrate, but it is not right to celebrate NWA 5000 as being the largest lunar meteorite found?(and respectfully, nor can there be at least three one-of-a-kind works of art). >> >> Barbra Barrett >> >> >> >>> On Jun 14, 2016, at 10:30 PM, Greg Hupe via Meteorite-list <meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com> wrote: >>> >>> Dear List, >>> >>> I would like to announce the availability of a Limited Edition of the 'World's Largest Lunar [meteorite] Replica'.
